Build Your Own Boost/Distortion

It's finally here! We've been dropping tidbits for a while now about offering this awesome opportunity for our customers. After some tweaking and testing of Trevor's (TRVR Handwired) custom boost/distortion circuit, we're ready to open registration for our pedal-building workshop at Backstage Guitars. Join us for some tech-minded fun at Backstage Guitars and craft your very own custom pedal, 100% designed by Trevor Baker of TRVR Handwired. This ain't your daddy's clone build. Trevor commissioned custom-printed circuit boards and silkscreened enclosures just for this class. If you don't take the course and build it yourself, you don't get one.

Class dates are Tuesday, Sept 30 and Thursday, October 2nd. We are dividing the class into two days. Day 1 will focus on proper soldering techniques, component overview, and circuit board population. On day 2 we'll be finishing connections on the board, completing final assembly, and play-testing.

Space IS limited, so if you are interested please e-mail or call Backstage Guitars to register. Registration will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment of $130 will reserve your spot. Enrollment fees cover all materials required, and you leave with a pedal you built from the ground up! With your own hands!

We will provide all of the tools and materials needed to complete the project. Just bring your riffs.

If you have questions, don't hesitate to call us! Ask for Jason.
